About the position

We are looking for a Test Engineer for our client, a major player in the automotive industry. This position is located in Malmö.

Your daily tasks

As a Test Engineer, you will work closely with the test cell operator to measure data from flow components such as turbochargers, valves, catalysts, and heat exchangers, with the primary goal of obtaining reliable test data. Equally important is understanding how the hardware setup influences test results.

Your responsibilities will include planning and preparing tests, ensuring quality during execution, analyzing and validating data, and documenting results. In addition to conducting tests, you will play a key role in fostering a collaborative culture and contributing to the team's progress.

We are looking for a person who appreciates the combination of the high activity in testing operations and the analytical challenge of drawing conclusions. Qualifications

• Master of Science or similar education
• Understanding how to measure temperature, flow, and pressure
• Fault tracing skills
• Personal interest in combustion engines and experience in mechanic work is valued
• Fluent in English, written and spoken

Meritorious

• Experience of measuring systems is a large advantage
• Education or experience of engine and exhaust aftertreatment

Contract type and hours

Full-time consulting assignment until 2025-09-30, with the possibility of extension. Start 2025-03-31.
