We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in Gothenburg, Sweden. Our client employs around 180 people and most are based at the head office in Gothenburg. They offer technical solutions and services tailored to the specific needs of various companies. They act in a fast paced and intrapreneurial environment and work closely with customers to design, implement and support solutions that drive value for the clients various companies. The IT Project Management Office is responsible for delivering high-quality IT project management services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery that meet business needs and drive digital transformation.

The client is currently in the process of outsourcing the First Line Support. The procurement process is ongoing and the agreement with a supplier has not yet been established. The project will start implementation as soon as this process has been completed and shall be ready before the end of June. The remaining project time will focus on transformation and adjustments within Group IT.

More specifically, we are looking for a skilled and committed project manager who will work together closely with the teams at Group IT as well as the supplier and lead the project from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is analytical and structured with focus on change management, and has previous experience managing outsourcing projects in an international setting.

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden, onsite.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Experience of leading outsourcing projects, preferably outsourcing of support, in an international setting
• Documented experience of running complex business-related projects in the role of project manager and a proven track record of managing successful IT projects
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools. They work with PPS
• Previous experience managing outsourcing projects in an international setting
• Change management experience
• Strong leadership skills with experience in leading project teams consisting of different competencies
• Self-motivated and collaborative
• Analytical and structured
• Strong communication skills
• Professional level of English - both oral and written
• Fluent in Swedish
• Valid EU work permit making you able to work in Sweden right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Project Management: Lead the project and its team members by setting clear goals, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring delivery of project milestones within set financial frameworks (schedule, costs, results)
• Monitor and act on risks and deviations. Report status to the steering group and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Change Management: Planning and implementing changes in a structured manner to minimize disruption and ensure smooth transitions
• Identify and assess the impact of changes and identify needed training and support to the teams
• Compliance with the Project Model and Project Framework: Work within the framework of our established project model, ensuring consistent application of processes and methods in all project activities
